So, despite the fact the Velvets were booked at the Dom (a new york club, if I&#8217;m not mistaken) all that month, they apparently weren&#8217;t performing every night.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Now Festival<\/i> was the brain child of Alice Denney &#8211; who would later be crucial to the formation of the Washington Project for the Arts.
